McKinney Cotton Mill BoHo Winter Wedding | Kasey + Chad

Kasey and Chad’s winter wedding at The Mckinney Cotton Mill was absolutely stunning. They actually found me on Instagram. They’re both extremely busy folks, livin’ it up in Los Angeles. Kasey has an extremely big heart and works for a non-profit organization, and Chad is an intuitive creative who works as a film producer. Despite their hectic schedules, they found time to chat and share some laughs with me via FaceTime, and after that I was so pumped that they decided to have Alan and I be a part of their big day. Let me just say, that the love these two share for one another is all but palpable. Seriously. For instance, during their first look, Chad’s tears flowed after seeing Kasey for the first time in her dress, enamored with her beauty. Similarly, when he saw her walking down the aisle with her father, his eyes once again began to well (along with everyone else’s).

Going to get sentimental and also brag on these two here for a second. Being a part of their big day felt as though everything in life had come full circle. The first wedding I ever captured was at the @mckinneycottonmill years and years ago. It just felt so incredibly good to be back in the place that started it all. The place where I fell in love with wedding photography in the first place. I definitely had an emotional connection to this wedding from the very beginning, and I was beyond overjoyed to be able to pour in.

Now on to the braggadocio of it all. I don’t know how I manage to come in contact with the sweetest, most creative, God-fearing, inspirational beings this world has to offer, but I’m forever grateful for it. We felt so at home and like a part of the family working with these folks and their loved ones, and we are just so incredibly thankful. These two are a shining beacon of love and light, and we are just so thrilled to have been a part of commemorating their special day. We appreciate these guys beyond words. They reminded us of why we love what we do.
