So excited that to be back to shooting again! Covid 19 has changed so much this year. This steamy engagement session at a Dallas showroom was exactly what I needed!

Traci and Michael found me on Instagram and we immediately hit it off. I couldn’t wait to learn more about their story and vision for their engagements, the pair told me all about how that they met through a mutual friend. It was her 30th birthday party. She was whispering in Traci’s ear, “hey, have you met Michael” while also whispering in his ear “hey, have you met Traci? What do you think?” I chuckled at this because I can think of many of times where I’ve played the wing-woman for my own friends as well. Traci said that by the end of the night, it was like they were an official couple and have been inseparable ever since. They seemed like the sweetest folks and I just couldn’t wait to get them in front of my camera!

Right when we were in the finalizing stages of finding the perfect location for their engagements, the Shelter in Place Order went into effect in North Texas. Sadly, we had to wait a couple of months before we were able to proceed with their session. Though our initial plans had changed quite a bit, we were beyond stoked to finally get the chance to get together for our session in April. Traci told me that she was considering a showroom for their engagements, and I was surprised. My interest was immediately piqued. An actual showroom? How cool is that?! With having a personal interest in art and interior design, I was extremely giddy for the opportunity to shoot at such a unique and inspiring location.

I just want to say that the chemistry these two share is so evident, Their session was full of passion and I was truly able to capture a sense of their closeness. They share such a unique bond and I love that we were able to bring that out through their images.
