Amy and Peyton’s sunset session at White Rock Lake was the sweetest of times. These two love birds seriously have the most infectious smiles and the warmest of personalities. Their fun-loving spirits all but jumped through the camera during their session. Their engagements served as our official ice breaker and introduction, and I was so glad to get the opportunity to capture their love!
We met at the docks at White Rock Lake just before sunset, and the evening light was warm and soft. It was honestly the perfect time of day. From there, we walked around to the nearby paths and fields to find some space to ourselves. For it to have been their first photoshoot together, I could have easily been fooled! From tickle fights, to belly laughs, and big bear hugs, these two were 100% comfortable and completely themselves. On the docks the pair shared a few quiet moments, gazing out over the calmness of the lake. The even had a still moment to tell me what they loved the most about each other. I can’t even lie, I got a little misty eyed when I heard the sweet things they said about one another!
To finish off the evening, we drove over to my favorite little grassy field on the opposite side of the park. We concluded our session by frolicking about on the grassy knolls, piggy back rides, and silly faces. The moon even made an appearance! It was truly the perfect day for an evening engagement session. I’m capturing their wedding next fall (woohoo!), and I can’t wait to create magic with them all over again!
Thinking about creating some fun and exciting memories together? Go ahead and reach out! I would absolutely love to frolic around a park with you and your person!
