Hello All!
Seeing as this is my personal page, it only makes sense that I properly introduce myself. I’ll try to keep it brief. For starters, I’m a 24 year old graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in Biology currently working in the medical field, who is willfully pursuing a career in the vast and ever expanding realm of photography – I know, huge contradiction there. I realized upon completing school that I had completely stifled my creative processes en route to obtaining my degree. It sucked. A lot. With job security comes longing for more stimulation and modes of expression, and consequently I find myself doing just that these days. I am a writer, a photographer, and an artist. I have been for a long time, but for the sake of focus I regrettably casted these aspects of myself aside during school, and it’s an innate, overwhelming desire to delve back into them that prompts this site’s content.
Working in an emergency room, it’s hard to bring these things to the forefront of my mind, but they are, in fact, true statements that I have grown to accept and embrace, more-so the past few months than I have my entire life. With this site, I intend to commit to posting all of my facets and interests as I rediscover myself in the arts, both visually and expressively.
